Skier’s Choice receives Amplitude Display Patent

APR 27, 2018

Wake enthusiasts and tech junkies can marvel at the all-new patented Amplitude Display available with the AutoWake 2.0 system developed by Skier’s Choice.

With this new addition to the wake performance lineup of patents, Skier’s Choice currently has 5 different patents that cover Dynamic Wake Control, Draft Sensors, Ballast Management, Yaw Measurement and Control and 4 more patents pending for other future technology.

With this new patent, Skier’s Choice reveals an Amplitude Display bar that allows you to adjust your “Wake Number” to meet specific performance requirements. This allows the operator to see the total potential wake and wave range available under current conditions and settings, and it shows how adjusting settings can deliver different performance capabilities. Amplitude Display shows the driver the boat’s performance capabilities under various conditions.

“For most riders using the AutoWake 2.0 system for wake surfing or wake boarding, a 100% Amplitude will give the desired maximum performance level available for that day,” said Moomba Product Development Manager Matt Brown, “For beginners or younger riders, a reduced Amplitude of 50-75% might give them a more manageable wake performance level with less intimidation.”

Amplitude Display is registered as U.S. Pat. No. 9,950,771.
